PIZZA WITH REINDEER
Ingredients
G 240 reindeer (or venison)
G 880 pizza dough (store bought or homemade)
G 250 Västerbotten cheese or parmesan cheese
G 600 canned tomatoes
G 10 thyme
G 10 cumin
G 10 dry basil
N 1 lemon
N 4 leaves kale
Lingonberries to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Extra virgin olive oil to taste
Preparation
- Start by setting the oven on MAX with grill function, if you have a pizza steel it is preferable.
- Pour the tomatoes into a bowl together with the oil, salt and the dried basil. Mix together to a smooth sauce.
- Heat a frying pan with oil in it, put in the minced venison and fry until it gets colored. Add the spices and fry for a few more minutes.
- Roll the dough and place it on a baking tray. Add the tomato sauce, careful to leave the edges free and put it in the oven.
Once half-cooked, bake out the pizza dough, put on the meat, chopped kale, västerbotten cheese or grated parmesan cheese, thinly sliced lemon and lingonberry. - Bake at the top of the oven until the pizza has a nice color. Serve steaming hot.
